NO NUT CACAO, OAT & COCONUT BROWNIE BALLS
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp cacao powder
12 dates, soaked in hot water for 5 minutes
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup shredded coconut
1.5 tbsp Canadian maple syrup
2 tbsp chia seeds (optional), for rolling
Method:
Place all ingredients (except the chia seeds) in a food processor and blend until well combined.
Roll out 12 small balls with the mix and place them on a tray. You can choose to coat the brownie balls in chia seeds or leave them as they are.
Place in the fridge for 1 hour to set.
Tip: These brownie balls last up to 10 days when stored in an airtight container in the fridge. They also freeze well - perfect to pull out and pop in a lunch box!!!
