TRIPLE DECKER CHOCOLATE MINT SLICE

Wow!! This triple decker chocolate slice is SO GREAT!!! It’s no bake and a bit of fun! Get the kids involved, they will love all the colourful toppings.

Makes 20 pieces

Ingredients:

Bottom layer:

  • 2 x 180g pkt dark chocolate, chopped 8 Choc Ripple biscuits, chopped (or any choc biscuits) 1/3 cup Spearmint Leaves lollies, chopped 2tbsp white mini marshmallows


Middle layer:

  • 2 x 180g pkts white chocolate, chopped 118g block Nestle Aero peppermint chocolate, chopped (or any mint flavoured chocolate) 1/4 cup shredded coconut 2 tbsp white mini marshmallows


Top layer:

  • 2 x 180g pkts milk chocolate, chopped 100g (1/2 cup) Darrel Lea Minty Crunchy Chocolate, chopped (or any green coated choc - eg. M&M’s). 1/4 cup shredded coconut 2 tbsp white mini marshmallows

Method:

  1. Line a 18 x 28cm slice pan.

  2. Place the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, stirring every 30 secs, for 1-2 minutes or until melted. Pour into the prepared pan. Spread evenly over the base. Sprinkle with the chopped chocolate biscuits, spearmint leaves and mini white marshmallows. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes or until the chocolate has set.

  3. To make the white chocolate layer, place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High, stirring every 30 seconds, for 1-2 minutes or until melted. Pour white chocolate over the dark choc, tilting pan to evenly cover the surface. Scatter the aero bar, coconut and mini marshmallows.

  4. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes or until chocolate has set.

  5. To make the milk chocolate layer, place milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High, stirring every 30 seconds, for 1-2 minutes or until melted. Pour milk chocolate over white chocolate layer, tilting pan to evenly cover the surface. Sprinkle with the chocolate balls, coconut and white marshmallows. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes or until set.

  6. Set the slice aside, at room temperature, for 10-15 minutes to or until softened slightly. Cut into squares to serve.
