Banana & Nutella Flaxseed Bread
Oh wow! This was gone very quickly in our house when I made it. It is amazing, so do yourself a favour and make it!Makes 1 loaf (8–10 slices)
Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
- 3 bananas mashed with a fork or potato masher
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk of your choice
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups wholemeal flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
- 6 tablespoons Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a loaf tin with baking paper so that it comes up the sides of the tin.
- Place all the wet ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Then add the dry ingredients and fold them through with a spatula.
- Pour half the batter into the tin and pat it down with a spatula. Dollop in half the Nutella and swirl it around with a fork. Top with the remaining batter and Nutella, again swirling with a fork.
- Bake for 45 minutes until cooked through. Remove and let it cool in the tin before slicing.
