Preheat the oven to 180°C conventional (160°C fan-forced). Line a loaf tin with baking paper so that it comes up the sides of the tin.
Place all the wet ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Then add the dry ingredients and fold them through with a spatula.
2 eggs, 1/4 cup milk, 1/3 cup pure maple syrup, 1/4 cup butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 1/2 cups wholemeal flour
Pour half the batter into the tin and pat it down with a spatula. Dollop in half the Nutella and swirl it around with a fork. Top with the remaining batter and Nutella, again swirling with a fork.
Bake for 45 minutes until cooked through. Remove and let it cool in the tin before slicing.
