Choc Chip Banana Oat Bars

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 bananas ripe, mashed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup pure
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups oats
  • 1 cup quinoa puffed
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup choc chips more for top

Instructions
 

Method:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C
  • In a bowl, mix the mashed bananas, extra virgin olive oil, almond butter, pure maple syrup, and vanilla
  • In another bowl, combine the oats, puffed quinoa, salt, shredded coconut, baking powder, and choc chips.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Line a slice tin with baking paper and press the mixture firmly into the tin to ensure a tight slice.
  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
