BAKED BRIE WITH TOASTED HONEY ALMONDS

Serves 6 (as a starter)

Ingredients:

  • Wheel of creamy Brie

  • 3/4 cup almonds, chopped

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1-2 tbsp honey

  • 2 sprigs of rosemary

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Place Brie in a small baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, heat a medium frying pan on medium heat. Toast almonds for approx 5 mins, stirring occasionally so they don’t burn. Add the butter and stir through until melted. Then add the honey and rosemary and mix well.

  3. Remove the Brie, and use a sharp knife to cut out the top. Then pour over the toasted almonds mix. Serve immediately.
