THE EASIEST BBQ PRAWNS

Try this simple and DELICIOUS BBQ prawn recipe.

It uses 10 ingredients and can be done in under 20 minutes!!!

 Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 32 raw large, peeled prawns (tails intact)

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons of butter, chilled

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  • 1 lemon, zest and juice

  • 1 pinch of red chilli flakes

  • 1/4 cup of parsley, roughly chopped

Lemon Mayonnaise Dipping Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of whole egg mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon of natural yoghurt

  • Squeeze of lemon

Method:

  1. Preheat BBQ to high.

  2. To make the dipping sauce, mix all ingredients. Adjust to taste.

  3. Combine the raw prawns, olive oil, butter, garlic, chilli flakes, lemon zest and juice.

  4. Barbecue the marinated prawns on the hot plate or grill for approx 3 mins each side.

  5. Serve prawns on a plate/bowl/platter and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve with dipping sauce.
