The Easiest Barbecued Prawns

Entertaining this summer? Try this simple and delicious barbecued prawn recipe. It uses only 10 ingredients and can be made in under 20 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 32 prawns raw, large, peeled (tails intact)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter chilled
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 pinch red chilli flakes
  • 1 lemon zest & juice
  • 1/4 cup parsley leaves roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon natural yoghurt
  • lemon wedge juice squeezed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the barbecue to hot.
  • For the dipping sauce: Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. Adjust to taste.

  • Combine the raw prawns, olive oil, butter, garlic, chilli flakes, lemon zest and juice in a large bowl.

  • Barbecue the marinated prawns on the hot plate or grill for about 3 minutes each side.

  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with the dipping sauce.
