Slow Cooker Hoisin Chicken
Cooking time: 6 hours (high) 8 hours (low)
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken thighs chopped into 4cm
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 cm ginger piece, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons corn flour mixed with 1 tablespoon water
Serve with:
- rice
- steamed greens
- sesame seeds extra
Instructions
Method:
- To the slow cooker: Add chicken, garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, cornflour and water mix. Then mix well to combine.
- Place the lid on and cook for 6 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
- Serve rice into bowls, top with hoisin chicken and steamed greens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
