Slow Cooker Hoisin Chicken

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 kg chicken thighs chopped into 4cm
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 cm ginger piece, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons corn flour mixed with 1 tablespoon water

Serve with:

  • rice
  • steamed greens
  • sesame seeds extra

Instructions
 

Method:

  • To the slow cooker: Add chicken, garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, cornflour and water mix. Then mix well to combine.
  • Place the lid on and cook for 6 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
  • Serve rice into bowls, top with hoisin chicken and steamed greens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
