Slow Cooker Hoisin Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken thighs chopped into 4 cm pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 3 cm ginger piece finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons cornflour mixed with 1 tablespoon water
  • rice
  • steamed greens
  • sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • To the slow cooker, add the chicken, garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, and cornflour mixture. Mix well to combine.

  • Place the lid on and cook for 6 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
  • Serve the rice into bowls, top with the hoisin chicken and steamed greens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
