Baked Salmon with Lemon & Dill

- 1 kilograms whole side salmon deboned
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1 lemon zest & juice
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup dill finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- Fresh dill and lemon slices to serve
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a large roasting dish with a layer of foil and baking paper.
- In a small jug or bowl, whisk together the butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, dill, salt & pepper.
- Place the side of salmon onto the lined baking tray. Spoon the butter mix over the side of salmon, making sure to drizzle over all areas. Bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh dill and lemon wedges.
Tip:
- If you want to prepare earlier, you can do every step and bake the salmon for 15 minutes. Store in the fridge. When ready to serve, take the salmon out and let it come to room temperature. Bake at 180°C for 5-10 minutes. Serve immediately.
